NEW - The XPLUS is technically different from anything else on the market, combining the light weight and comfort of an open-face helmet with the additional protection of a full chin-piece in a unique hybrid design.
Unlike the "flip-face" helmets currently available, the XPLUS has an integrated face shield and chin guard, which is built into the visor.
Simply raising the integrated visor transforms the XPLUS into an open face helmet. Givi's R&D department describe the new integrated visor design as "DSA System (Dynamic-Shock-Absorption)". Although it functions in exactly the same way as a regular visor, it has sufficient shockproof characteristics to earn the XPLUS the same safety ratings as a full face model. The system is very sophisticated, yet easy to use, as the visor can be opened and closed with one hand.
The XPLUS also features a smaller internal sun visor, which can be used either as a sun shield under the main visor, or on its own when the main visor is open. This is a truly versatile helmet, design to function equally well in an urban environment, on the motorway or blasting through the countryside.
