Alpinestars Hurricane v2 Rain Pants

Packable rain pants you can pull on over your boots

The Hurricane v2 Rain Pants are the bottom half of Alpinestars' current rain gear: an ultra-light laminated fabric that's 100% waterproof, breathable and wind resistant (rated 4,000 mm waterproof and 6,000 g/m² breathability), tape-sealed seams, and a fixed poly-mesh lining in the upper half so they slide on over textile or leather. The fabric is treated so it won't stick to the pants underneath, and they fold into their own built-in pouch with a carry handle.

Sizing and fit

Sizes S to 4XL. Size them to go over your riding pants. The leg openings are extra long and wide so you can get them on at the roadside without taking your boots off, then a reverse-coil zip with an internal gusset closes the lower leg down around any boot or riding shoe. The waist and cuffs are elasticated, the knees are shaped for the riding position, and there's a reflective wordmark on the left thigh.
